If you like peanut butter fudge, I think you will like this cake. The icing reminds me of peanut butter fudge. However, the peanut butter flavor is more subtle than in the peanut butter fudge I make.
Although there is some stove top cooking involved, this is a very quick baking cake that can be placed in a half sheet baking pan to serve a crowd. If you do use a half sheet baking pan, I recommend doubling the icing recipe as it takes more than one batch to adequately cover the entire cake.

i was looking up how to make peanut butter sheet cake when i ran into this recipe my b-day is sept.11 and this is the only thing i want and ill even make it myself and your recipe sounds very good and one of the easiest recipes i found i have never made sheet cake and havent ate any in about 10 yrs.i was at my daughters school carnival and i happen to get a piece of it and i never knew what it was i just asking around what kind of cake i had ate and describing it the best i could and finally my mother-in-law says to me that sounds like sheet cake so i started looking it up on my computer and i didnt know if they made peanut butter or not but i knew that cake taste like peanut butter so i just looked up peanut butter sheet cake and sure enough there it was this recipe and more so i was sure proud that after 10 yrs.i was gonna have that great tasting cake that i just loved i wanna say thanks for the recipe i will let u know how it tasted after the 11th thank you!!!!!!
