Orange Cream Gelatin Dessert is an easy dessert that you can make from a few items in the pantry and freezer at any time of the year. It works well for Thanksgiving, Christmas, Mother's Day, bridal or baby showers, etc. It is sweet and rich, yet somehow also seems light and refreshing. Romaine and Cauliflower Salad
This salad can be made well in advance of serving and tastes great! The combination of Parmesan cheese and romaine lettuce make it reminiscent of a Caesar salad.
It is wonderful for when you have guests, cook a meal for a crowd, pot luck, or just a nightly dinner.

If your concerned that some of your guests (kids and adults) may not like cauliflower, try cutting the florets into very small pieces. I have had adults eat more than one serving before they could figure out there was cauliflower in it. By then, they really liked it.
If you do not have enough room in your refrigerator for the nearly completed salad to sit for a few hours, I have found that you just need to make up the dressing and refrigerate it well in advance. You can cut up the rest of the salad and refrigerate them in individual zip plastic bags sometime long enough before the serving that they are also cold. You will just assemble and mix together just before serving.
The recipe is easily doubled, tripled, etc. depending on how many you need to feed.
Enjoy!
