Orange Cream Gelatin Dessert is an easy dessert that you can make from a few items in the pantry and freezer at any time of the year. It works well for Thanksgiving, Christmas, Mother's Day, bridal or baby showers, etc. It is sweet and rich, yet somehow also seems light and refreshing. Refrigerator Raisin Bran Muffins
My favorite Raisin Bran cereal has always been made by Post. A few months ago, it was impossible for me to purchase for a while. When it was finally available again, it was not the same. The flakes in the boxes I purchased were much thicker than I ever remember. It turns out I am […]

Honey Orange Cauliflower
Inspired by the orange color of my small head of cauliflower, I decided to deep fry some cauliflower and coat them in a bottled orange sauce…similar to chicken wings. My daughter really likes the Cheesecake Factory’s Korean Cauliflower, so I thought she would like deep-fried cauliflower paired with another favorite orange sauce. Although I buy […]

Lemon Filled Pillows

Easy Eggnog Bread Pudding
What do you do when you have a quart of eggnog left after your eggnog loving teen never gets around to drinking it? You start baking. This is the easiest bread pudding I have ever made. I literally threw it together in about five minutes and baked it for about 45 minutes. Unlike the above […]

Old-Fashioned Pineapple Salad
One of my relatives used to make this salad and bring it to covered dish gatherings. I remember always being very pleased to see it among the many dishes lining the tables. My mom did not make this dish, but I loved it. It took me many years to figure out how to make it. […]

Cheesy Cream of Broccoli Soup
Many years ago, a colleague shared a recipe for an easy cheese broccoli soup that used Cheez Whiz. Over the years, I made enough changes to that soup that I realized it is no longer the same recipe. While it no longer is a simple as dumping a few ingredients into a slow cooker and […]
