Orange Cream Gelatin Dessert is an easy dessert that you can make from a few items in the pantry and freezer at any time of the year. It works well for Thanksgiving, Christmas, Mother's Day, bridal or baby showers, etc. It is sweet and rich, yet somehow also seems light and refreshing. Barbecue Beef Muffins
Putting barbecue sauced ground beef, cheese, and biscuits together in a muffin tin makes an easy alternative to a traditional sloppy beef sandwich. However, these barbecue beef muffins are easy to store, transport, and reheat making them a great item for next day lunches.
The original recipe was in one of my compilation cookbooks. After making it once as written, I noticed that I ended up with a lot of leftover barbecued ground beef. I recommend using two tubes of biscuits if using a pound of ground beef or just use less ground beef. If you use 3/4 of a pound of ground beef, you do not have to make any adjustments in the measurement of other ingredients. If you are making less than 3/4 pound of ground beef, you best be served by proportionally reducing the sauce ingredients. If using the large muffin tins/large biscuits, 3/4 or 1 pound of meat will make just the 10 biscuits…you may get another 5 if using 1 pound.
I did make a few other changes to the recipe by adding other ingredients that I would use in barbecue sauce. If you want the more simplified original version just omit the honey (use more brown sugar instead), onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce.
