Orange Cream Gelatin Dessert is an easy dessert that you can make from a few items in the pantry and freezer at any time of the year. It works well for Thanksgiving, Christmas, Mother's Day, bridal or baby showers, etc. It is sweet and rich, yet somehow also seems light and refreshing. In hers, you cut shapes out of regular sandwich bread with cookie cutters, mix together mayo, parmesan, minced onion, and whatever herbs, etc. you like – toast the bread one one side under the broiler, flip and spread the mayo mix on the other side and pop under the broiler again until bubbly and golden. It sounds silly for what it is, but there are a LOT of things I’ll pass up just to eat more of these, they’re sooooo good. Love that yours must be crunchy with the baguette, where these are light and crispy.
