My husband has liked those frozen onion hamburger patties since his dad cooked them once when we were visiting a few years ago. He likes them so much that he has been known to buy and cook them when we have had direct-from-the-farmer, grass-fed beef in the freezer. I am more of a fan of using what we have in our budget and freezer. Thinking it would be easy to make one that tasted just as good if not better, I decided to make my own.
