The America’s Test Kitchen Family Cookbook
First, let me just say that I do not own this cookbook. I know people who own this cookbook. I have read it extensively. They have it at the library. I really like this cookbook, but I do not own it.
Second, this cookbook is one of my favorite general cookbooks along with the Better Homes and Garden Cookbook from my earlier article. It also covers a wide variety of foods, includes great pictures and step-by-step directions, and comes in a ring binder.
The advantage of this cookbook is the testing of the recipes to find the best methods. The pictured, detailed recipes may be even easier to follow than the Better Homes and Garden Cookbook as well.
If you like the PBS television series, America’s Test Kitchen. You should like this book.
In fact if you really like the television series, you may want to check out this year’s book, The Complete America's Test Kitchen TV Show CookbookIt has received good reviews. It apparently contains almost all of the recipes from all of the shows over the last decade..
Discloser: I am an Amazon Affiliate. I have not been paid or otherwise solicited to write about either of these cookbooks.
