Orange Cream Gelatin Dessert is an easy dessert that you can make from a few items in the pantry and freezer at any time of the year. It works well for Thanksgiving, Christmas, Mother's Day, bridal or baby showers, etc. It is sweet and rich, yet somehow also seems light and refreshing. Mist Poke Dessert Bar
Mist Poke Dessert Bar in Atlanta, Georgia is the kind of shop that seems to represent an entire line of food trends. It just so happens that my daughter and I love some of these trends, particularly rolled ice cream.
We chose a mango ice cream base with mango pieces added for the rolls. We chose to top the rolls with banana, coconut, and toasted almonds. It was wonderful!
While I had water, my daughter went for a more vibrant drink. She ordered the Mist Light Bulb Blue Sky. It came in a plastic light bulb. Although I was skeptical that it was just a gimmick and would not taste good, it turns out it was really delicious. The only thing I did not really like about it was the price…almost $6.
The Mist Poke Dessert Bar is a really nice place to grab dessert after eating dinner at one of the many ethnic restaurants along Buford Highway or to grab a snack. If you like Poke bowls, it would even be a place to grab a meal.
The next time we go I want to be more adventurous and try the cuttlefish balls and shaved ice (Asian style).
If you are in the area, I recommend giving it a try. It is in the same strip mall area as Pho Bac and Yong He Zhi Jia.
